Hodge, You dip stick, soaking them in hot water makes the bias weak, everyone knows that.

Cory don't let Hodgy fool you.....

He got that off Muppet flower who in turn got that little tip off David Walker of Scholes and Cleckheaton fame.

If you stick them in near boiling water they stay hot for ages!

Is it true you can get you feet and your bowls in at the same time pleasure ?

Some party trick Smile

Wouldn't buying a handwarmer or some kewell gloves for whilst off the green be easier ??

Flash, he could always try warming the rubber mat up, then he would certainly have warm hands as he does most of the carrying, mind you he would most probably melt it whilst it was in the kettle!

Kewell gloves only work on Aussies.

Tut Tut Uncle Ken, The season hasn't strated and already you are trying to get inside a young bowlers head. Comments like that will only knock the little confidence he has/had. You are really are a tinker. I hope that age has not been unkind to you this winter and can still walk/bowl without a stick as I look forward to giving you some grief this season.

Lots of love.

We could have a series of Grudge Matches, perhaps on a daily or weekly basis.

Play for money, winner takes all. Perhaps run a book or two?

Maybe play 41 up to extend the game? Invite the odd guest players.

Perhaps call it something like the Harrogate Panel? or maybe just 'The Panel'

How's that for an original idea? Wink Wink

Yes you are right I would get hammered, I dont even try to win as I know I cant, I have no enthusiasm for the game and never have had, I cant stand losing every week, I have never captained a winning team to any sort of achievements either, you would think I would be used to it by now as I or my teams I play for haven't a won a game all season, think I will get my captain to predict some awful results for the team, that should really put me to an all time low! Hey and worse of all, I have never supported my team round the green, have I ken? Rolling Eyes
