Sheet went off yesterday so we can tell you the first match is to be held at Black Swan on Suday 27th April vrs Warrington.

Lets try and drum up a bit of support - we need the gate receipts Smile

I will post the team up for interest once Mr Ingledew confirms any late changes.

Chaz Charleton in? Paul Birtwhistle in?

I've always thought Chris Sunter bowls well in the county games.

I actually questioned Dave Walker from Scholes to see if he was eligible but he declined. Surprised

I am sure both would have a chance of selection if they made themselves available to play.

Like ageing footballers having to pace themselves these days Cool

I agree it will develop their game and would be good to get one or two involved at right time.

It should be picked on merit as far as possible and in a league with 5 teams 2 up and 2 down there are not too many games that dont count.

Not easy to get right and please everyone (not even those picking it all of the time) with a selection committee - we all have our opinios but that is the way it is done so we have to agree with the consensus on a few issues and get on with it.
