It sounds as though it is not re-drawn on Sunday and is played through, is that so?

No, defintaley not played through. A re-draw is always done for Finals day.

It is normal to have a pre-draw done prior to Finals day however. The draw is done using the Green and Draw position rather than wait for a name e.g. A-1, B-1, A-2, B-2 - (and so on to 4), goes in the draw. A-1 being the top of the draw qualifier at the first green, B-4 being the bottom of the draw qualifier at the second green.

..even Knaresborough, steve and josh don't bowl there in Harrogate league.

yes Brigzi, you and your dad proved a superb partnership, takes some doing to get 19 against top players like fox n rothers and on a green they know better.

Almscliffe unfortunatley at this time, is not somewhere we should be hosting a big finals day. Yes, maybe in a few years, or 4/5 years ago.

2/1 on Chuckers winning...

I think is something to do with Almscliffes rise up the leagues.

I'll tell you something about Wetherby too. For their centenary pairs, i played with Hodge and the surface was immaculate, and an absolute pleasure to bowl. Only problem if it is a problem is that it was held there last year..

Boston Spa in my eyes is the ideal choice.

Any news on the draw.

I've heard the draw is
Wolfenden/McLeod v Nacey/English
Coker/Walker v Baldwin/Milner
Fox/Rothery v Reynolds/Rigby
Rowson/Charlteton v Hodgson/Hebblewhite
(Perhaps not in this order)

Also heard Almscliffe is favourite choice to host the finals.

Don't know how true this is though
