Move both me and Margarate 2 to the lft on your scale and you wouldnt be 2 far wrong.

Grandma Bushby maybe slightly overated though especially by our club memebers IMHO.

But all down to interpretation i suppose.

Lets see what happens at the end of the season shall we

But chris always gets the tough draws and you usually get one of those little furry things that scampers around near the tennis courts / fields ???? :) 8)

Or will you be going for the Shardlow challenge :?:

Both me and Chris are attending the Bradford V Lincoln fixture that evening.

For that reason we will both be on in the first half and will therefore unfortunatley miss out on facing the mighty Shadders.

And as for always getting easy draws... Thats definatley not the case as you'd know if you had been keeping an eye on our results

Swan used to do it on first team games won and lost over the season i.e. person who won most games , not average unless tied so Mr Olding would have won on our old system as having gained most points for the team over the season.

We now put winner of schweppes cup - our club comp - forward. This gives everyone in the club a chance of winning it irrespective of team they bowl in. Swings and roundabouts because hasn't made more people enter club comp, some people cannot make date of the club comp and I feel the best bowler at the club for that year should represent the club and that is generally first team player with the best record. But thats what AGM's are for and we changed the system in a democratic fashion.

No detriment intended to Hodgy who bowled superb to win it (Schweppe Cup) this year and also in the Harrogate league this season for Swan and fully deserves his place at the table.
