The last person to do these reports didn't hasve such a succesfull winter, maybe Ken, in asking me to do them is hoping it rubs off! Anyway here goes.
On 1st was Garforth Wreck under the leadership of loopy Lufford, against Liams Allstars, what was said in Terry Kelly's words to be "all the young lads", however with Terry's enthusiasm to always do well the average age of the team was about 45 with an all family team of Grandad, Dad, Uncle, and Nephew making up the 4 with a promise from Terry of Tony Green, Harry Seehra and Phil Hill all to come in! AnywayTerry beat Mark 21-17, Lisa "I only play once a year" Hiscock beat young Liam 21-19, Steve "Snowy" Winterburn won 21-7, and Uncle Sean Kelly winning 21-9, meaning a 3-3 result.
On 2nd was Little Rascalls against Fiery Jacks who have lost the services of Mr Morris but replaced him with his twin, Scooby Lightfoot, Scooby had a very close game with Alwyn and just got home 21-19, Bailey Boy won as easily as his dad lost to Jake the peg Nacey and the consistant rock and roller Stan beat young Telly to wrap up a 5-1 win for the Fire!
3rd on was a repeat of last years grand final as the homesters of Taddy took on Balck Swan, Chaz "lazerus" Charlton nudged his way past Andy Walton 21-17, the ever consistant Telly senior, played very very very well and beat me 21-18

, Dave Lickley beat Charlie 21-20 and Dave "Bad Luck" Rowson got 12 against Graham, so a 4-2 win for taddy.
Last but by no means least was Ken's Cokers - against the other new team from Cranmore called "six pack".
Mr England got the Coca's off to a great start by winning his first game of the season 21-17 against Darren Cookson, the battle of the ladies went "Bowled Caarol"s way by beating Miss Speight 21-16, Rosey played really well to win to 18, but the performance of the night was left to the fish man himself, to beat "the top boy" Rob Spink 21-16, so 6 pack got 6 packed off by the Coca Cola's and we are all left looking up at the top of the league. Ken's hot chocolate was the best it has tasted for a few years when he got home.
