Tip of the Day #8

Postby IanK on Thu Jun 07, 2007 12:37 pm

Another practice tip. I've got 2 sets of woods so can use 4 woods for this one.

No Jack. Simply bowl the first wood on a shortish length. Bowl the second but aim to put a yard in, bowl the third with another yard in and so on.

Second end bowl the first wood long. Bowl the second and look to take a yard out and follow on.

What you should end up with is a nice neat straight line of woods all about a yard apart.

Alternatively, like me what you can do is make a right mess over the green that needs the sheep dogs in to round 'em up :?
