I heard that Chapel Street did not have their strongest team out but managed to win at Dragon 6-4.

No David please dont listen to Daddy. They had a very strong team having a much better player to replace you. However they just sneaked the game and may of course keep the stronger team having obtained this result away.I think that you will be pushed to get back in when you have finished your studies.Your only hope is to replace Daddy who looks as if he is on his way down now he is getting that much older.See you at your green

Yep it was flying cozza, and when it poured down it got even quicker, I am sure Pigeon will agree. To be honest it wasn't that bad - certainly not slower than the Rawdon green i played at on Saturday. Gutted that we didn't win it today but hopefully we will be back next year and have another go.

Congratulations to the Garforth Lads, you bowled very well against us and it looks like you kept it up against Chapel Street in the final.

No sometimes when you lose you just have to give credit where it is due and the truth is on the day they bowled the green really well.

I was a tad sexist in my earlier post as it should have been Garforth lads and lasses.
